Dirk-Jan Bakker (1964)
Dirk-Jan Bakker works as a management consultant since 1992. He has broad experience in the development of quality systems (ISO and EFQM/ INK), through working at KIWA, the Dutch market leader for certification in the utility sector (water & energy). He has set up a consultancy firm, to facilitate process improvements as spin off from Kiwa certification and auditing work. In 2007 he joined TAKT, to focus purely on lean process improvements. He works in construction (Heembouw, Ballast Nedam), utilities (Nuon, Kiwa), services (Hertz) public administration (gemeente Soest, gemeente Venray). Dirk-Jan is co-founder and member of the board of the Dutch Lean Initiative (NLI).
